You probably know how to hide a row or column. But have you even wanted to hide a single cell? Here’s how:
Using Excel 2003: 1. Right-click the cell you would like to hide and select Format Cells…. 2. On the Number tab of the Format Cells dialog, click Custom. Type three semicolons (;;;) and click OK. 3. The content of cell F5 appears blank. 4. If the cursor is placed in cell F5, the contents of the cell will display in the formula bar. Shortcuts Key: Press CTRL+1 to display the Format Cells dialog. |
