This Sales Opportunity feature in ACT! seems like it would be a great tool. But I can't get a handle on an easy way to enter folks in the funnel and find them again to move them through the stages. Any ideas?

A client calls in and the first thing you do is go to his Contact Screen. He asks if you have January 21st open. Here’s a quick way to check your calendar without leaving the Contact Screen:

Groups are great ways to house temporary (or permanent) categories of contacts. Groups can be added or deleted at will without affecting the database itself. Groups in ACT! 7.0 & 8.0 are dynamic, meaning they add and subtract from the group automatically. Earlier versions of ACT! allow you to set a rule to ADD a contact automatically but you have to 'dump' the group to remove contacts who no longer meet the criteria.
