Arlene Watkins, President of Heritage Computer Consulting & Services, Inc., spent over twelve years in a medical laboratory office.  There she operated a mainframe computer and supervised the billing for the laboratory and contracted billing services.  Several years after moving to the Kansas City area, Arlene was Production Manager for a local computer software company where she was in charge of producing software updates and tracking client software installations.

Arlene’s main focus has been business management and customer service.  She also writes training documentation and Help Systems for custom applications written by the company.  When needed she creates forms and reports in Microsoft Access and tests software applications.

Arlene is a member of the Kansas Women’s Business Center.  Since 1999, she has served as Education Chair of the Independent Computer Consultants Association (ICCA).  She also served as secretary of the ICCA – Kansas City Chapter Board (2002-2003).  In 2003, she was an Athena PowerLink recipient.
